After studying Fashion at the Willem de Kooning Acadamy, I`m now persuing my dream of becoming a Footwear Designer. I finished a year of industrial footwear design, wich resulted in my first design going into production at Sacha Shoes. At this moment I`m doing a Master course in Shoe Design at Fashion Masters in Arnhem and it won`t be too long before I`ll bring out my very own shoe collection. As a real kid from the `80`s I`m inspired and fascinated by strong women, real or fictive, from queen warrior Boudicca, to Patsy from absolutely fabulous.

I love the tension of contrasts: Naughty and nice, innocent and guilty, explicit yet mysterious. It`s a part of me and a part of my design esthetics. I guess I`m kind of an explorer, looking at life as one big adventure, excited about the next discovery on my path.

Hai My name is Jeanne Jaimie Viset,

I was born and raised in a small village. Ever since I was young I have always been the one who was different in expressing my fashion compared to other kids my own age. I have never been generic. My mom used to make the kind of clothes that I wanted, I never was into mainstream fashion, something always had to be different. When I went to high school I was never accepted by regular people so I fled to the big city and discovered the night life. I was attracted to everything I discovered: the people, the fashion, the nusic, etc. I was finally understood and I realized at that moment that I was a city kid and not a small towner.

My passion has always been dancing. It started when I was 3 years old and watched a ballerina on a rug on TV in skin coloured leotard. I started to undress and copied her on my parents rug. Ever since I have been practising classical ballet (and later on modern ballet). I had a plan this year to start a course at the dance academy but unfortunately I had to realize it might not be the right thing for me (since my background is too classical), but I wont stop trying! So no school for me at this moment, but in stead I am exploring myself en working on my portfolio as a model.

I am heavily inspired by the sixties, Edie Sedgwick is my greatest idol! When I am in the train and stare outside I feel like I was born at the wrong time!

My love for fashion is bigger than everything.It’s difficult to pinpoint exactly when I became aware of fashion and the world behind it.At the age of 12 I bought my first Elle magazine en from that moment I was hooked on watching collections and editorials.Nowadays my collection of fashion magazines is really big.
